Our global network of top-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Document Controller is responsible for the implementation of project-specific procedures for the storage, retrieval, management and tracking of company documents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Document Controller is responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementation of project-specific procedures for storing, managing, retrieving and tracking company documents<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of project-specific procedures for adhering to the project\u2019s document lifecycle procedures including the archiving of records in accordance with the records retention schedule<\/li>\n<li>Controlling the retrieval of documents by authorized users<\/li>\n<li>Developing and maintaining registers and logs [such as Correspondence registers] for incoming and outgoing documents<\/li>\n<li>Adhering to document management procedures, policies, and systems<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the staff of other departments in the implementation of document workflows and templates<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with quality audits by internal and external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Performing document management tasks as needed<\/li>\n<li>Scan and upload documents where required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in document control department<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in the employ of an engineering consulting firm or construction contractor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific skills required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to prioritize, manages time well, multitask and troubleshoot.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with document control\/database management software.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Person Specification (Personality Attributes):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Focused on client delivery \u2013 attention to detail and quality with a capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of a Team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet project targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Comments:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eligibility to work in Ghana (due to nationality or work permit) is an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Secondary Certificate.<\/p>\n<p>Computer literate.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ezAdsense adsense adsense-leadout\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AECOM is a premier, fully integrated professional and technical services firm positioned to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets around the world for public- and private-sector clients.
