Microcredit is the extension of very small loans (microloans) to impoverished borrowers who typically lack collateral, steady employment, and a verifiable credit history. It is designed not only to support entrepreneurship and alleviate poverty but also in many cases to empower women and uplift entire communities by extension. In many communities, women lack the highly stable employment histories that traditional lenders tend to require. Many are illiterate, and therefore unable to complete paperwork required to get conventional loans. As of 2009, an estimated 74 million people held microloans that totaled US$38 billion. Grameen Bank reports that repayment success rates are between 95 and 98 percent.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Submission of annual review working papers on a strategic plan for approval by the Governing Council.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensuring all Governing Council working papers are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensuring the submission of all relevant reports as required by the Bank of Ghana in a timely manner.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Regularly collecting and collating reporting from members in both Tier 3 and Tier 4.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proactively ensuring dynamic adaptation in the structure of the organization at all levels in response to the \u2022\u00a0\u00a0 strategy of the Association.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Organizing periodic inspection on all members operation.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Identifying sources of fund and report same to the Governing Council.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Running an efficient Research and Development function for the Association.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Efficiently managing the finance of the Association.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 All other functions that would be assigned by the Governing Council from time to time.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 At least 7 years\u2019 experience in managerial position in the finance industry is an added advantage.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must be a team builder, strategic thinker, must have analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Computer skills including ability to operate computerized accounting spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly efficient level
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Age limit: 35 years to 45 years<\/p>\n
