{"id":24094,"date":"2017-05-29T09:29:56","date_gmt":"2017-05-29T09:29:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=24094"},"modified":"2017-05-29T09:29:56","modified_gmt":"2017-05-29T09:29:56","slug":"match-ghana-recruitment-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/match-ghana-recruitment-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"MatCH Ghana Recruitment 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <b>pharmacist<\/b> is a member of the health care team directly involved with patient care. <b>Pharmacists<\/b> undergo university-level education to understand the biochemical mechanisms and actions of drugs, drug uses, therapeutic roles, side effects, potential drug interactions, and monitoring parameters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Pharmacist Advisor \u2013 REF: 0934<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Purpose of the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The incumbent will provide technical assistance and support to the facilities at all levels to ensure proper pharmaceutical governance, management and supply chain management for public sector HIV\/AIDS;STIs and TB and related services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with provision of technical assistance to HIV, TB and STI Programmes and other Strategic Health Programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with coordination of pharmacovigilance programme for HIV, TB and STI Programmes (and other Strategic Health Programmes) to optimise patients\u2019 safety in use of medicines.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the implementation of systems for ensuring continuous availability of and access to essential medicines and other related products for HIV, TB and STI Programmes (and other Strategic Health Programmes).<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the implementation of the system for accessing third line medicines for HIV and TB.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the evaluation of research protocols and clinical trials, including implementation of relevant operational research for HIV, TB and STI Programmes (and other Strategic Health Programmes).<\/li>\n<li>Communication with National, Provincial and District stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and oversee completion of accurate and timely production of all required reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required minimum education and training<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree that allows registration with the necessary professional body.<\/li>\n<li>Initial and Current Registration with the Pharmacy Council as Pharmacist Advisor.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum work experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 years\u2019 relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Drivers licence and own transport; willingness to travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>P<\/strong><strong>rofessional body registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered with the necessary professional body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Post-graduate qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in chronic treatment programmes eg.
