It operates a network of more than 1,200 branches and outlets across more than 70 countries and employs around 87,000 people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Relationship Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Work on a specific portfolio of clients<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Client facing role primarily responsible for working with Global Account Managers (GAM) and product partners to deepen client relationships &amp; drive revenue growth.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for supporting post deal account maintenance and management of the risk associated with the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Ensure account conduct is in compliance with key policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Support post origination activities such as approvals, documentation, reporting, etc by engaging with Client and relevant internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Team adherence to the Code of Conduct<\/li>\n<li>Imbibe the principles of Leading the Way<\/li>\n<li>Drive roll out and institutionalization of Alignment &amp; Accountability<\/li>\n<li>Understand products and capabilities of the Firm internally &amp; externally<\/li>\n<li>Leverage product, industry &amp; region expertise, and the Firm\u2019s resources<\/li>\n<li>Understand and demonstrate focus on client service needs<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the ability to build client relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Lead pitches and deal execution meetings<\/li>\n<li>Use product knowledge to support new business origination, development &amp; execution<\/li>\n<li>Recognize &amp; Flag cross-sell opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Coach and manage the work allocation amongst Peers and Juniors in the team<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize and manage the expectation of Senior Bankers on deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Drive deal execution and new idea generation independent of Senior Bankers<\/li>\n<li>Develop and form an opinion on deal\/transaction issues; effectively articulate and defend a position<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable of key industry trends where applicable and its related implications on the business\/clients<\/li>\n<li>Display confidence and credibility to execute transactions and to achieve client objectives<\/li>\n<li>Be aligned with the Firm\u2019s Values and Beliefs<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the work environment embraces diversity by building an inclusive culture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications And Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree or Professional Qualification in a relevant discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 8 years work experience, five (5) of which must be in Corporate Banking roles<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of experience in dealing with multinational clients<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills, capable of developing relationships with individuals from across different areas of the Bank<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of Financial Markets &amp; Transaction Banking products, ability to influence product partners and help deliver structured solutions<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work across different transactions and situations globally, and change priorities at short notice<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate strong work ethics<\/li>\n<li>Consistently demonstrate integrity<\/li>\n<li>Consistently exercise good judgment<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate strong negotiation skills (with internal and external stakeholders)<\/li>\n<li>Responsive to requests from Senior Bankers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage data and support effective MIS<\/li>\n<li>Anticipate client needs and respond effectively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Standard Chartered PLC is a British multinational banking and financial services company headquartered in London.
