The company is registered by Ghana Investment Promotional Center [GIPC] and licensed by Bank of Ghana [BoG]. It commenced Savings &amp; Loans operations from April 2013.<\/p>\n<p>ASA Savings and Loans Limited took over from ASA Ghana, a Financial Non-Governmental Organization operating as microfinance institution and replicating the successful microfinance model of ASA Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Assistant Finance And Accounts Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and ensure accurate financial reports, including cash flow and forecast<\/li>\n<li>Review bank reconciliation statements prepared by the accounts officer(s)<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and annual budget<\/li>\n<li>Prepare tax computations and ensure filing of same with the GRA<\/li>\n<li>Develop, coordinate and report on relevant key financial performance indicators<\/li>\n<li>Must be knowledgeable in IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Shall be able and ready to embark on trips to branches for inspection<\/li>\n<li>Any other responsibilities that may be assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Must not be more than forty-five (45) years<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting\/commerce or related field and a qualification in accounting (ACCA OR ICAG)<\/li>\n<li>Must have at least three (3) years post qualification work experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in accounting standards and principles, including month end closing processes<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft excel<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with personnel from all levels internally and externally<\/li>\n<li>Committed, responsible and able to work under pressure within limited time<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be familiar with accounting applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apply to the Human Resource Manager enclosing detailed CV with a photograph.
