The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is the public university established in the country, as well as the largest university in Kumasi Metropolis and Ashanti. KNUST has its roots in the plans of the King Asantehene Agyeman Prempeh I to establish a university in Kumasi as part of his drive towards modernization of his Ashanti kingdom. This plan never came to fruition due to the clash between British empire expansion and the desire for King Prempeh I to preserve his Ashanti kingdom&#8217;s independence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Caterer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology, Kumasi requires the services of Caterers to provide culinary services to its Basic Schools.<\/p>\n<p>The Basic Schools is a co-educational unit with a population of 2,850 pupils\/students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree\/HND or their equivalent in either Catering or Hospitality;<\/li>\n<li>Must have worked in that capacity for a minimum of three (3) years;<\/li>\n<li>Good Knowledge in nutrition, food and beverage trends within the Hospitality Industry;<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of three (3) years Management Experience in Catering Services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should please submit a letter of application, Curriculum Vitae, a copy of certificates and two references to<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Deputy Registrar (HRD), <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>KNUST, Private Mail Bag <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>University Post Office <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Kumasi <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>or by e-mail hrd<strong>@knust.edu.gh<\/strong> before the <strong>end of June 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is a university in Kumasi, Ashanti, Ghana.
