With a heritage spanning more than 130 years, ABB operates in more than 100 countries and employs around 132,000 people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Service Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Service Engineer, you will be a part of the Robotics &amp; Motion Division based in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>Robotics and Motion (RM) Division offers a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators, and robots.<\/p>\n<p>You will be responsible for working closely with ABB counterparts and<br \/>\nGlobal service centers personnel, ensuring prompt response of the site service\/warranty cases in the shortest lead time possible to provide technical support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Tasks as a Service Engineer will include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Condition Assessment and Monitoring of High Tension (HT) Electrical Equipment including HT Motors, Generators&amp; Transformers (ex. LEAP).<\/li>\n<li>Online and Offline Testing and Data Collection of machines at customer sites.<\/li>\n<li>Exhaustive Residual Life Assessment of motors and generators.<br \/>\nSite Supervision of Service activities such as Repairs, Re\u00adwedging,<\/li>\n<li>Overhauling such as Solvent Cleaning, Dry\u00adice cryogenic cleaning, Dry\u00adout, Varnishing, Assembly\/Disassembly and Re\u00adCommissioning of Large HT Motors and Generators.<\/li>\n<li>Routine and Type Testing of Form wound Coils\/Bars in HT Rotating machines.<\/li>\n<li>Man\u00adpower handling, customer interfacing, problem solving, caring out site activities and other such soft skills associated with Site Services.<\/li>\n<li>Service Reports including All Motors manufactured by ABB and other brands.<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with the COE in India for LEAP reports.<\/li>\n<li>EEx certified engineer.<\/li>\n<li>Ready to carry out other reasonable duties as requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with more than 8 years of<br \/>\nexperience in electrical machines assembly, commissioning, diagnostics and repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills for Microsoft Office as well LN applications are required as well.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in online and offline testing, Data Collection of machines and fluency in spoken and written English is must.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ABB is a pioneering technology leader that is writing the future of industrial digitalization.
