{"id":2461,"date":"2011-03-05T01:50:42","date_gmt":"2011-03-05T01:50:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=2461"},"modified":"2013-12-24T13:54:26","modified_gmt":"2013-12-24T13:54:26","slug":"assistant-superintendent-hslp-jobs-newmont-ghana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/assistant-superintendent-hslp-jobs-newmont-ghana.html","title":{"rendered":"Assistant Superintendent HSLP Jobs: Newmont Ghana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/jobs-ghana\/newmont-ghana\"><strong>Newmont Ghana<\/strong><\/a> Gold Limited<strong> <\/strong>a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation, one of the World&#8217;s largest gold mining companies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will report to the Health, Safety and Loss Prevention Manager and will be responsible to carry out the requirements of the Integrated and Health Safety and Loss Prevention Management Systems for the Ahafo operations<\/p>\n<p>Develop and administer Newmont programs to prevent accidents\/incidents and loss at Ahafo and work with other site departments to reduce the incidence of accidents at the Site<br \/>\nManage the weekly, monthly and yearly HSLP internal and external reporting processes and develop monitoring and measurement criteria for HSLP competency in line off progression<br \/>\nManage the activities of the HSLP Co-ordinators to ensure that an appropriate HSLP service is in place, including inspections, safety meetings, and safety behavior programs<br \/>\nProvide advice to department managers about hazard identification, risk management, safety rules and regulations, trends and statistics and legal compliance<br \/>\nParticipate in hazard identification and risk assessment activities and manage the HSLP Hazard Register for the Site and Legal Compliance Register<br \/>\nThe duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Master&#8217;s or Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Health, Safety and Loss Prevention, Risk Management or a related engineering discipline<br \/>\nMinimum 7-8 years&#8217; experience in working in the health and safety field in an extractive industry.
