Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Technical Engineer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n REPORTS TO<\/strong>: WATER SYSTEMS MANAGER<\/p>\n MAIN DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n Checks all components of the water delivery systems (scheduled and ad hoc) and carries out routine preventive and repair maintenance.<\/p>\n Identifies faults beyond his remedy capacity and arranges for repairs after reporting to and receiving approval of Systems Manager.<\/p>\n Assists with periodic water quality tests and also prepare technical reports on assigned systems.<\/p>\n Carries out troubleshooting and correction of marginal electrical faults.<\/p>\n Carries out periodic lubrication and fuelling of equipment.<\/p>\n Advises on and assists with authorized private water connections.<\/p>\n ENTRY REQUIREMENT<\/strong>S<\/p>\n Applicant must have<\/p>\n A minimum of Higher National Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with not less than two (2) years\u2019 post\u00adqualification industrial experience, including National Service.<\/p>\n Demonstrable understanding of \u2018WASH\u2019 management and challenges.<\/p>\n Demonstrable proficiency in the use of computers with the ability to present reports in at least \u2018Word\u2019 and \u2018Excel\u2019.<\/p>\n Satisfactory performance at a selection interview<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" At Utility Management Services, Inc.
