Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Community Relation Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n MAIN DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n Carries out periodic community mobilization and sensitization including systems planning, design, construction, and management.<\/p>\n Carries out periodic training\/orientation of WSMTs and operational staff on their defined roles.<\/p>\n Spearheads and establishes a Learning Alliance Platform for all stakeholders in assigned zone.<\/p>\n Carries out hygiene promotion for water safety and related environmental protection.<\/p>\n Provides orientation on tariff setting and periodic reviews.<\/p>\n Ensures the formulation and enactment of bye\u00adlaws for the management and operations of the water system<\/p>\n Receives and addresses customer complaints and provides other customer relations services<\/p>\n Liaises with District and other relevant stakeholders on community mobilization issues<\/p>\n Supervises the activities of water vendors<\/p>\n ENTRY REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Applicant must have<\/p>\n A University Degree in the Social Sciences, preferably in Sociology or Psychology, Nursing, Public Health or an affiliated discipline.<\/p>\n Certificate in Public Health, Communication, Public Relations or Adult Education is an added advantage.<\/p>\n Good understanding of WASH management and challenges.<\/p>\n Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n Demonstrable proficiency in the use of computers with the ability to present reports in at least \u2018Word\u2019 and \u2018Excel\u2019.<\/p>\n Proficiency in the language of the area of work<\/p>\n Satisfactory performance at a selection interview.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" At Utility Management Services, Inc.
