{"id":2468,"date":"2011-03-05T01:08:31","date_gmt":"2011-03-05T01:08:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=2468"},"modified":"2013-12-23T15:32:18","modified_gmt":"2013-12-23T15:32:18","slug":"latest-health-safety-and-loss-prevention-manager-ghana-jobs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/latest-health-safety-and-loss-prevention-manager-ghana-jobs.html","title":{"rendered":"Latest Health, Safety and Loss Prevention Manager Ghana Jobs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Newmont Ghana Gold Limited<\/strong> a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation, one of the World&#8217;s largest gold mining companies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will report to the Africa Health, Safety and Loss Prevention Regional Director and will design and manage a sustainable HSLP System at the Ahafo mine<\/p>\n<p>Develop and maintain Health, Safety and Loss Control Management programs designed to prevent accidental harm to employees, property, and processes<br \/>\nContinued development of the risk-based HSLP management system framework consistent with the Newmont HSLP Policy, OHSAS 18001 and management practices to which Newmont has committed<br \/>\nEnsure surface and underground fire and safety protection systems are maintained<br \/>\nAnalyze data from accident investigations, observations, inspections and other sources to assure management that programs are working as intended<br \/>\nMonitor the Site&#8217;s Occupational Medical Services<br \/>\nThe duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A minimum of a degree in Health, Safety, or Loss Prevention or related field. Master&#8217;s or Post Graduate Diploma is a plus<br \/>\nAt least ten years work experience in the Occupational Health and Safety field in heavy industry such as mining, manufacturing, construction, oil &amp; gas<br \/>\nOperating knowledge of the ISO 18001 &amp; 14001 systems<br \/>\nPossess evidence of professional experience and qualifications through certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygiene Professional (CIH), Certified Hazard Control Manager (CHCM), Accredited Safety Auditor (ASA), etc<br \/>\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to be considered for any of the above position, please send your application letter and current CV with references, indicating your e-mail address, telephone contact information to the address below:<\/p>\n<p>The Human Resources Manager<br \/>\nNewmont Ghana Gold Limited<br \/>\nP.
