Jomoro Rural Bank Limited invites applications from qualified persons to fill the following position in the bank:<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Head, Internal Audit<\/strong><\/p>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Ensuring the efficient working of the internal control system of the bank; Developing and establishing professional internal audit practices consistent with professiona auditing practices;<\/p>\n Putting measures in place to rectify external audit queries and concerns raised in on- site examination reports of the ARB Apex Bank and Bank of Ghana;<\/p>\n Ensuring adherence to all tax and other responsibilities as required by the tax authorities, the board and the Bank of Ghana;<\/p>\n Pre-auditing major purchases of the bank;<\/p>\n Reviewing vouchers, loan files and other transactions to mitigate the risks associated with the operations of the bank;<\/p>\n Reviewing inter-agency and interbank accounts and reporting on long outstanding items;<\/p>\n Advising the General Manager and the Board on any matter relating to the internal audit organisational risk management, controls and governance;<\/p>\n Preparing and submitting quarterly audit reports to the Board.<\/p>\n Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n A minimum of Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting & Finance, or Banking.<\/p>\n Professional qualification in ICA\/ACCA or CIB will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n Five (5) years post qualification experience in the financial or banking industry of which three (3) must have been at management level.<\/p>\n Good knowledge of banking systems, procedures and modem internal auditing practices.<\/p>\n Strong analytical and excellent planning and leadership skills, with great attention to detail.<\/p>\n Effective oral and written communication skills.<\/p>\n Computer literate especially in e-merge (T24 banking software).<\/p>\n Be a person with a high level of integrity.<\/p>\n Must be at least 30 years of age<\/p>\n How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n Interested persons should send their application letters and CVs to:<\/p>\n The General Manager <\/strong> NB:<\/strong> Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Jomoro Rural Bank Ltd. is located in Opp. Commercial Bank, Elubo, Elubo, Ghana.
