\nEnsure that documented procedures and policies exist in all departments and are compiled with
\nAscertain the integrity and reliability of financial and other information provided to Management and other stakeholders
\nPrepare annual departmental budget
\nDevelop annul audit work schedule for the department
\nDesign all audit plans
\nPerform risk assessment of the Authority’s business (Enterprise Risk Assessment)
\nReview of business process in other departments
\nPre audit all foreign payments or transfers
\nCarry out periodic investment appraisal and audit of returns
\nLiaise with department heads and suggest improvements in departmental controls
\nRegularly communicate to the director general, the Board and Audit Report Implementation committee sumarising result of audit activities
\nAssist in the investigation of fraudulent activities within the Authority
\nRegular review of audit and manuals
\nReview on monthly basis the operating statement of the Authority for MIS report
\nReview of annual draft financial statement and draft accounts for external auditors
\nPerform all other task as assigned by the director general, the board or the Audit Report Implementation Committee<\/p>\n
\nThe applicant must:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nHave at least fifteen (15) years post qualification of which eight (8) years must be in management or senior management position in the aviation or air transport industry
\nWorking experience in the aviation industry in management position is an advantage
\nStrong analytical skills; excellent knowledge in accounting and very confessant with Ghana Civil Aviation Authority’s charts of accounts
\nEffective oral and written communication skills; good in computer especially Microsoft excel; ability to work with various department and foster team work; and able to interpret term organisational goals and objectives<\/p>\n
