\n\u2022 Schedule and supervise facilities maintenance, and new works in progress in the operational area.
\n\u2022 Assist in the provision of inputs for the preparation of business plan and budget proposals, reports and other documents relating to the General Services Section
\n\u2022 Liaise with the engineering department\u2019s facilities management section on the implementation of the Minor capital works programme
\n\u2022 Assist in determining the scope of works and prepare bill of quantities\/cost estimates for specific maintenance and new works
\n\u2022 Prepare and submit work orders for specific maintenance and new works to be outsourced.
\n\u2022 Inspect, test and certify maintenance and new works completed, and make recommendations for payment.
\n\u2022 Assist in the preparation of tendering documents and contract documentation for procurement, ensuring consistency with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663).<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 10 years working experience in construction industry, or a facilities management assignment.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Good interpersonal relations, technical report writing decision-making and communication skills
\n\u2022 Ability to solve technical or operational problems,
\n\u2022 Ability to provide leadership and educational to subordinates
\n\u2022 Must be computer literate<\/p>\n
