The ARB Apex Bank Limited is a \u201cmini\u201d-central bank for the Rural & Community Banks (RCBs). The Bank was registered as a public limited liability company in January 2000. The shareholders are the RCBs. It was granted a banking license in June 2001 and was admitted to the Bankers Clearing House as the 19th member in August 2001.<\/p>\n
It had its certificate to commence business on 1st November 2001 and commenced banking business on 2nd July 2002. The activities and operations of the Bank are governed by the ARB Apex Bank Limited Regulations, 2006 (L. I. 1825) which came into effect on 12th December 2006.

\n\u2022 Manage and administer a high-end server running Windows and Redhat Linux Operating system.
\n\u2022 Create and support the running of WMware virtual environments
\n\u2022 Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, configure\/add new services as necessary
\n\u2022 Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
\n\u2022 Maintain Data Center environment and monitoring equipment.
\n\u2022 Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled job such as backups
\n\u2022 Research and recommend innovative approaches, for system administration tasks
\n\u2022 Maintain operational, configuration or other procedures.
\n\u2022 Be responsible for resolution of assigned helpdesk issues
\n\u2022 Monitor and support Wide Area Network(WAN).
\n\u2022 Configuration of Network Devices such as routers, switches, firewall, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS)
\n\u2022 Create and manage VLANs
\n\u2022 Anti-Virus Configuration and Management.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Related professional certification will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of SAN systems
\n\u2022 Storage and Backup Administration
\n\u2022 Knowledge of system virtualization preferably VMware vSphere
\n\u2022 Exposure to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Practices<\/p>\n
