It\u2019s a powerful\u00a0success story built on the strength of our people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Construction Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"field_label\">Job Summary\/Introduction<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are currently looking to hire a Construction Manager to be based in West Africa, for a leader within the oil and gas services, maintenance and construction industry, electrical and mechanical works.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities (But not limited too):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Structural, mechanical, plate work, piping, electrical and instrumentation construction in the mining field<\/li>\n<li>Effective co-ordination, management and leadership of the direct construction team (supervisors and foreman)<\/li>\n<li>Effective compliance and assistance to company and client safety and quality requirements<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of, and effectively execute, the construction programme by identifying and managing risk situations, accurate and diligent completion of daily diaries, ensuring delays are managed and\/or escalated for commercial action, ensuring proper quality control\u00a0close-out and handover of areas to client on time, and ensuring the overall project is completed on time<\/li>\n<li>Be aware of and assist site manager with financial controls<\/li>\n<li>Assist site manager with recruitment, selection and management of the project team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Qualifications (But not limited too):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience and in depth knowledge as a Construction Manager<\/li>\n<li>Experience in\u00a0structural, mechanical, plate work, piping, electrical and instrumentation<\/li>\n<li>Mining Industry knowledge preferable<\/li>\n<li>10 &#8211; 15 Years experience in\u00a0the construction or related fields<\/li>\n<li>PMP.
