Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Head of operations<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n As a member of the Country Program\u2019s (CP) Senior Management Team, you will provide leadership and management of the operational functions<\/p>\n \u2013 Finance, Human Resources (HR), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Administration, Information, and Communication Technology, Security and Audit Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n Contribute to the CP strategic planning and programming by providing input on needed investments in operations capacity \u2013 systems, processes, and staffing \u2013 that meet CRS\u2019 standards, donor requirements, and local regulations and support high-quality programming. Provide coaching, strategically tailor individual development plans, and complete performance management for direct reports.<\/p>\n Monitor and assess performance to ensure adequate capacity for successful support of high-quality programming. Contribute to staffing plans and recruitment process of senior staff<\/p>\n Travel Required \u2013 15%<\/p>\n Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant fields highly preferred.<\/p>\n Minimum of 5 years work experience in a management position with progressive responsibilities.<\/p>\n Experience with an international NGO and experience outside country of origin preferred.<\/p>\n Understanding of financial systems, including budgeting and budget\/expense analysis experience.<\/p>\n Knowledge of SunSystems and Vision accounting software or similar financial reporting software highly preferred.<\/p>\n Knowledge of multiple public donors\u2019 regulations, including USAID, highly preferred.<\/p>\n Staff management experience and abilities that are conducive to a learning environment.<\/p>\n Knowledge of procurement and general office administration\/management issues.<\/p>\n Proficient in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Web Conferencing Applications, and information and budget management systems.<\/p>\n Personal Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n Excellent strategic, analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to see the big picture and ability to make sound judgment and decisions.<\/p>\n Strong relations management abilities.
