For 350 years and across the world we have passionately pursued our curiosity to find novel and vibrant ways of enhancing the lives of others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Medical Sales Representative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Presents the company&#8217;s drugs, products, and services to prescribing doctors and medical personnel in Ghana ( Accra) in order to meet individual\/team quotas and the organization&#8217;s business objectives. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute sales activities, including the development of key account strategies, their implementation, and the required coordination of resources.<\/li>\n<li>Develop &amp; implement short term plans in order to ensure effective customer coverage.<\/li>\n<li>Increase market penetration and monitor performance against planned objectives in an own area &amp; take action to close the gap.<\/li>\n<li>Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Business Operations etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Network effectively &amp; build meaningful relationships with key customers &amp; opinion leaders in an own territory and constantly manage their expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships within the account\u2019s organization providing value-added solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Provide reports &amp; feedback pertaining to trends\/opportunities or risk identified in own territory.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure sales tracking in pharmacies to maintain product availability, forecast shortages, and trigger orders.<\/li>\n<li>Attend and participate in the organization of clinical meetings, seminars, and trade shows as appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ensure timeous completion &amp; updating of all sales\/event reports &amp; the related administration<\/p>\n<p>Job located in Accra ( Ghana)<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we offer:\u00a0<\/strong>At Merck, there are always opportunities to break new ground.
