GGBL produces, distributes and sells Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, three different lager beers, RTDs, APNADs and mainstream spirits.\u00a0 The majority of our products are packaged in returnable glass bottles, though PET was recently introduced.<br \/>\nInnovation is critical to the business agenda in a very competitive and dynamic market with rapidly changing consumer demands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"answer ng-scope jobdescriptionInJobDetails\"><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"answer ng-scope jobdescriptionInJobDetails\"><strong>Job Title: Site Engineering And Asset Care Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the Supply function, we will produce quality products in a safe environment at competitive costs, on time and in full with no errors.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The role holder will need to develop, support and implement specific plans to achieve standards<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Manage site engineering in respect of Asset care, projects, modifications, overhauls, Capital Expenditures, spare parts and safety to ensure plant and equipment availability.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement maintenance strategies for the site to facilitate the achievement of key outputs of the Product Supply Function.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and manage approved maintenance and capex budgets for all equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and experience required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Degree in \u00a0Electrical\/Mechanical Engineering with 10 years experience or its equivalent in an FMCG<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience in maintenance engineering in food or drink manufacturing environment is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>A member of the GhIE or equivalent recognized body will be useful<\/li>\n<li>Proven first line management skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literate<\/li>\n<li>Resource management Skills<\/li>\n<li>People management &amp; motivational skills<\/li>\n<li>Networking\/influencing \/communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Manage complexity<\/li>\n<li>Coaching skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Commit to Occupational Health and Safety standards. Frequently state and articulate that\u00a0Safety is our No.1 priority.\u00a0Be visible as an ambassador for safety by behaving in a safe manner at all times and always challenging unsafe practices and behaviour of others, reprimanding where appropriate. Adhere strictly to the site safety rules and systems and equipment operational procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\">\n<li value=\"2\">Enforce all aspects of the Food Safety and Quality Management System related to my department is followed and maintained.<\/li>\n<li value=\"3\">Ensure compliance with safety regulations to achieve zero LTA.<\/li>\n<li value=\"4\">Achieve site engineering Key Performance Indicators with direct responsibility for developing, coaching and supporting his team.<\/li>\n<li value=\"5\">Implement asset care and perfect plant agenda to achieve manufacturing excellence through the execution of effective planned maintenance activities (e.g. shutdowns, overhauls) and providing technical input into the engineering teams in collaboration with the maintenance planners.<\/li>\n<li value=\"6\">Implement best engineering practices and provide input into asset care management, managing materials, components and spares required by the plant\/equipment to achieve optimum cost.<\/li>\n<li value=\"7\">Manage site overhauls to ensure that these activities are completed on time to specifications and budget.<\/li>\n<li>Establish clear standards for all contractors in the area of engineering and ensure compliance to Permit To Work requirements<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Optimise product quality, through continuous observation and attention to detail, delivering Right First Time (RFT) on quality and control parameters. Respond\u00a0to non-conformances\u00a0in a timely manner to keep processes on track.
