{"id":2537,"date":"2011-03-11T12:00:59","date_gmt":"2011-03-11T12:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=2537"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:20:41","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:20:41","slug":"ghana-investment-promotion-centre-gipc-internal-auditor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/ghana-investment-promotion-centre-gipc-internal-auditor.html","title":{"rendered":"Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC): Internal Auditor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) invites applications fro a suitable qualified Internal Auditor to manage its Internal Audit Unit<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and implement internal audit policies as approved by Management or the Board of Directors of the Centre<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that financial information produced is reliable<\/li>\n<li>Fulfill Board of Directors&#8217; and Management&#8217;s audit requests<\/li>\n<li>Monitor economic and efficient use of the Center&#8217;s financial resource<\/li>\n<li>Monitor compliance with applicable laws and financial regulations<\/li>\n<li>Advise staff of the Finance and Accounts Department on the auditing requirements of the Centre<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and report on any irregularities in the financial management of the Centre<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the external Auditors on general audit requirements and assist them in their task<\/li>\n<li>Audit all financial payments to ensure proper authorizations have been secured and that the rules and regulations have been followed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Skills\/ Job Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must hold either B.Sc. Admin (Accounting Option) Degree from a recognised University with at least 8 years post graduation experience out of which at least 5 years should be in the field of Auditing; or<\/li>\n<li>Must have obtained the final certificate of an Accounting body with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in Auditing<\/li>\n<li>Must be computer literate<\/li>\n<li>A Master&#8217;s Degree in Business Administration-Accounting and Finance would be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nThe Chief Executive Officer<br \/>\nGhana Investment Promotion Centre<br \/>\nPublic Services Commission Building<br \/>\nP.
