\n\u2022 Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs and maintain mechanical engineering equipment;
\n\u2022 Supervises and assigns work to mechanical technicians;
\n\u2022 Inspects work for completeness;
\n\u2022 Responsible for the conduct of planned mechanical maintenance services, control of labour and the procurement of materials for unscheduled and emergency work;
\n\u2022 Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by his supervisor.
\n\u2022 Maintain effective Health and Safety systems, including completion of risk assessments and SOP\u2019s.
\n\u2022 Ensure housekeeping, productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained, most especially within the mechanical maintenance department.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Five (5) years mechanical engineering experience preferably in the mining industry;
\n\u2022 Five (5) years supervisory experience preferably in the mining industry;
\n\u2022 Problem solving and decision making skills;
\n\u2022 Ability to apply knowledge of standards, methods and procedures to work situation;
\n\u2022 Dynamic knowledge and understanding of engineering practices in the Mining environment;
\n\u2022 Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
\n\u2022 Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, database management;
\n\u2022 Medically fit for the position and environment;
\n\u2022 Valid Ghanaian Driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
