{"id":2554,"date":"2011-03-14T01:56:59","date_gmt":"2011-03-14T01:56:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=2554"},"modified":"2013-12-27T11:18:21","modified_gmt":"2013-12-27T11:18:21","slug":"adehyeman-savings-and-loans-credit-officers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/adehyeman-savings-and-loans-credit-officers.html","title":{"rendered":"Adehyeman Savings and Loans: Credit Officers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Adehyeman Savings and Loans Limited (ASL) <\/strong>is a non-bank financial institution licensed by the Bank of Ghana to provide financial services to various parts of Accra.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of our expansion program and business strategy, we require the services of a smart, confident, performance oriented and experienced professionals to be employed as Credit Officers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Advises and informs clients on loan products<br \/>\nScreens and selects loan applications<br \/>\nAssesses loan by visiting the applicant\u2019s business and residence, contacting suppliers, customers and other stakeholders of the applicant where necessary and analyze the information gathered in the required professional manner<br \/>\nPresents results of analysis to Credit Committee<br \/>\nDisburses loans<br \/>\nMonitoring of outstanding loan portfolio<br \/>\nManaging arrears and follows up on bad debts<br \/>\nCross selling other non-credit products<br \/>\nContributes to the improvement of processes and procedures<br \/>\nEvaluates other loan proposals and decisions at both credit and arrears committee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A minimum of a HND or Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science or an equivalent professional qualification. Some level of experience in the field is an advantage.<br \/>\nSpecial \/ Personal Abilities<\/p>\n<p>Should possess  good knowledge of accounting &amp; mathematics<br \/>\nShould be able to speak  English &amp; about two local languages<br \/>\nGood Computer knowledge (MS office)<br \/>\nExcellent communication skills; ability to explain complicated matters in a simple way<br \/>\nAnalytical skills; combined with a good portion common sense<br \/>\nAmbitious and enthusiastic team player<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please note that only those who meet the requirements of this position should apply and only short listed candidates would be contacted.
