Consequently, the company has the legal and regulatory mandate to receive deposits and as well offer loan products.<\/p>\n<p>Adehyeman Savings and Loans Limited (ASL) is a non-bank financial institution licensed by the Bank of Ghana to provide financial services to various parts of Accra.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of our expansion program and business strategy, we require the services of a smart, confident, performance oriented and experienced professionals to be employed as Credit Officers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advises and informs clients on loan products<\/li>\n<li>Screens and selects loan applications<\/li>\n<li>Assesses loan by visiting the applicant\u2019s business and residence, contacting suppliers, customers and other stakeholders of the applicant where necessary and analyze the information gathered in the required professional manner<\/li>\n<li>Presents results of analysis to Credit Committee<\/li>\n<li>Disburses loans<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of outstanding loan portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Managing arrears and follows up on bad debts<\/li>\n<li>Cross selling other non-credit products<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the improvement of processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Evaluates other loan proposals and decisions at both credit and arrears committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a HND or Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science or an equivalent professional qualification. Some level of experience in the field is an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Special \/ Personal Abilities<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Should possess\u00a0 good knowledge of accounting &amp; mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Should be able to speak\u00a0 English &amp; about two local languages<\/li>\n<li>Good Computer knowledge (MS office)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complicated matters in a simple way<\/li>\n<li>Analytical skills; combined with a good portion common sense<\/li>\n<li>Ambitious and enthusiastic team player<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Human Resource Department<br \/>\nAdehyeman Savings and Loans Limited<br \/>\nP.O.
