\nThe Veritas Bridge Advisory (a subsidiary of The Veritas Bridge Group) offers Accountancy, Tax, Advisory and Verification services to corporate and sophisticated clients.
\nWe seek to hire an enthusiastic and engaging individual to lead the Advisory team in creating long \u2013 term trusting relationships with our clients. The holder of this position will oversee a portfolio of assigned clients, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new
\nbusiness opportunities.<\/p>\n
\nBuilding and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships;
\nMeeting and interviewing clients;
\nOverseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit;
\nPreparing accounts and tax returns;
\nAuditing financial information;
\nAnalysing accounts and business plans;
\nProviding tax planning services with reference to current legislation;
\nFinancial forecasting and risk analysis;
\nManaging colleagues, workloads and deadlines;
\nCollating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements;
\nDeveloping and managing financial systems\/models;
\nRequired Skills or Experience
\nDegree or Masters Degree in Accounting Finance.<\/p>\n
\nExperience in the role of Financial Manager or Accountant<\/p>\n
\nExtensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
\nAble to manage, guide and lead team to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
\nA solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
\nProficiency in IT and user of finance software
\nWorking knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
\nSelf-motivation & integrity
\nAbility to reflect on one\u2019s own work as well as the wider consequences of financial decisions
\nBusiness acumen and interest
\nOrganisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
\nTeam working and analytical ability<\/p>\n
