Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title: Credit Risk Officer (Loan Book Management)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reports To: Credit Administration Manager
\nLocation: Accra<\/p>\n

Purpose Of The Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Credit all Customers with the corresponding monthly payment per the schedule received from the various employers on behalf of customers.
\nKeep record of the dates of receipting and any challenges encountered.
\nUpdate the collection rate table for all employer customers each month
\nUpdate receipting details with all off payroll collections to determine actual collection rate for the month.<\/p>\n

Primary Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Account Management \u2013 Receipting And Reconciliation
\nReceipting
\nCredit all customers with the corresponding monthly payments per the schedules received from the various employers on behalf of customers.
\nKeep record of dates of receipting and any challenges encountered
\nUpdate the collection rate table for all employer customers each month.
\nUpdate receipting details with all off payroll collections to determine actual collection rate for the month.
\nCompare the collection records with details on view to determine any inconsistencies and investigate accordingly.<\/p>\n

Reconciliation
\nReview receipting data to separate all overpayments, non-payments, and underpayments for further analysis
\nReview individual accounts of all non-payments and underpayments to establish actual cause of nonpayment or underpayment
\nPrepare a list for the submission to the employer for feedback on the causes of non-payment after internal reconciliation and updating of individual accounts.
\nSubmit list of all first cycle non-payments and underpayments to the branch support team for further investigations using loan contract details
\nSubmit the list of all non-payments and underpayments to the off payroll management team to contact customers.<\/p>\n

Keep detailed track of all reconciliation activities carried out in the month.
\nAnalysis of payroll related feedback and analyzing performance of collections
\nResubmissions
\nPrepare a list of all non-payments to various employer customers for feedback
\nFollow up on all resubmissions for feedback on time
\nUpdate all accounts based on feedback received from employer customers
\nRecommend the appropriate codes for various accounts based on feedback received
\nEnsure resubmission process is done correctly and tracked continuously
\nLoan Book
\nAnalyse loan book for any changes in quantum of bad debt
\nPrepare data models with Microsoft Excel to predict product trends and cycles
\nMonitor the payment pattern of employer clients and use collection rate models to predict payment trends
\nMonitor all employer clients on the book to ensure that each employer is up to date with payments
\nMonitor recency and track movements
\nEnsure that all payments in suspense(unallocated) are allocated after posting
\nReduce arrears to the barest minimum<\/p>\n

Required Skills or Experience<\/p>\n

A minimum of Higher National Diploma.
\nOver 3 years\u2019 experience in running collection, specifically with unsecured lending
\nStrong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
\nCompetencies Required (Skills & Abilities)
\nGood knowledge of application software such as MS Word, Excel and Access
\nMust be able to meet target on scheduled time
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\nMust be willing to travel to customer sites
\nMust be highly assertive<\/p>\n
