{"id":25806,"date":"2017-08-24T10:15:17","date_gmt":"2017-08-24T10:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=25806"},"modified":"2017-08-24T10:15:17","modified_gmt":"2017-08-24T10:15:17","slug":"university-mines-technology-vacancy-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/university-mines-technology-vacancy-available.html","title":{"rendered":"University Of Mines &amp; Technology Vacancy Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Finance Officer will be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for all financial issues of the University.<br \/>\n\u2022 The successful applicant must have had relevant experience in managerial and leadership positions in the area of finance preferably in a tertiary or analogous institution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract Term<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The successful applicant should be able to serve a minimum of 4 years and shall, upon application by him\/her, be eligible for re-appointment for only another term of 4 years but not beyond his\/her retiring date from the University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Conditions of service are as applicable in Government of Ghana subvented universities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates must hold a Masters Degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized University and ICA (Ghana), ACCA, ACA, ClMA (Final) in Finance\/Accounting. He\/she should, in addition, show evidence of a good grasp of financial administrative procedures and have rich and relevant post- qualification experience of not less than twelve (12) years. In addition; an applicant must have proven evidence of:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong leadership skills and dynamism;<br \/>\n\u2022 Being a strategic thinker and takes initiative in policy formulation;<br \/>\n\u2022 Being a team player with excellent interpersonal skills;<br \/>\n\u2022 Good communication and excellent report writing skills;<br \/>\n\u2022 High sense of responsibility and moral integrity; and<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in the use of Information and Communication Technology.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience in university financial administration at a level of Deputy Finance Officer or higher management level would be an advantage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Tarkwa<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply For the Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prospective candidates should send ten (10) copies of their Curriculum Vitae, copies of certificates and statements of their vision for the University in not more than five hundred (500) words to the following address:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Chairman, Search Committee<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>c\/o The Registrar,\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>University of Mines and Technology<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>P.
