Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Innovation Pipeline Management:<\/p>\n

Be the commercial partner on the pipeline development to ensure it is aligned to the Sales & RTC capacity & capability.
\nInfluence the sales organisation to secure disproportionate focus and resources to deliver the innovation pipeline effectively.
\nLead the execution of the pipeline to deliver it on time, ensuring launches fit within the overall priorities and the wider commercial calendar of the business<\/p>\n

In Market Commercial Leadership:
\nLead the shaping of the Sales function with the Sales Director to support the overall innovation ambition for the business.
\nIdentify Innovations that need new RTC or significant changes to the current RTC and lead the business to set-up the required RTC for launch.
\nDefine the key Innovation KPI\u2019s and execution standards that all sales teams will be measured on.
\nReshape the existing Sales force incentive plan to include reward based on delivering Innovation KPI\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Project Commercial Leadership:
\nBe the key commercial lead, driving alignment between the innovation\/marketing team and commercial teams.
\nEnsure the launch plans developed by the Innovation teams are grounded in commercial insight and will deliver against the key objectives.
\nDefine the key KPI\u2019s for each innovation launch.<\/p>\n

Innovation Performance Management and Intervention:
\nSet up the overall performance management framework for innovation, and include it in all standardized sales reports
\nOwn the Monthly Innovation Performance reviews defining clear interventions and actions as an outcome.
\nInfluence the sales organisation to ensure the interventions are prioritised and executed
\nDrive regular commercial M&E across all launches ensuring clear communication and learnings\u2019 sharing across the business.
\nLead the commercial input<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

At least a Bachelor\u2019s Degree from a recognized institution (business related discipline an advantage).
\nA Minimum of 8 years work experience in commercial with at least 3 in a leadership role. (Field Sales experience is a must).
\nCommercially astute; Strong understanding of key customers, category, shoppers & channels.
\nExcellent relationship management, senior stakeholder influence and interpersonal skills
\nStrong analytical capabilities
