\nEnsure that employees are screened for pre-placement through overseeing the process and \/or undertaking assessment activities. Identify any implications for employment an provide them with relevant health information for their role.
\nManage the delivery of health surveillance and screening programme.
\nCollate and analyse statistics.
\nAct in a professional advisory capacity to unqualified OH staff. This would include but is not limited to:
\nMaking decisions in relation to external referrals
\nManagement of site OH records
\nAdvise on delivery of First Aid Services in conjunction with TOPP\u2019s First Aid Coordinator
\nAdvise on risk-based assessments to develop safe working practices and prevent ill health.
\nProvide advice on legal compliance in relation to Occupational Health and where relevant, Health and Safety Legislation.
\nAdopt a proactive approach to anticipating, managing and improving OH involvement in issues such as ergonomics, workplace procurement etc.
\nProvide and oversee work-related health information, instruction and training
\nParticipate within and advise upon, positive attendance management strategies and activities, including sickness absence, rehabilitation and temporary redeployment.
\nInvestigate work-related ill health and advise on corrective actions\/ergonomic solutions.
\nDevelop strong working partnerships with associated professional groups such as physio, Occupational Hygienist, Health and Safety, HR etc.
\nProactive involvement in Company initiatives such as TPM, Vitality etc.
\nCoordinate and\/or deliver health promotion activities and advice were appropriated
\nMay contribute to the development of TOPP\u2019s operational excellence e.g through contribution to policies and procedures, working parties etc.
\nOversee ordering of medical supplies and consumables<\/p>\n
\nA minimum of 2 years of post horsemanship Occupational Health experience
\nAbility to understand current Health and Safety Legislation
\nExcellent communication and influencing skills
\nA team player able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
\nA customer-focused, positive approach to work
\nFlexibility to meet business needs.
\nExcellent planning and organizing abilities
\nIT literacy (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook preferred)
\nSupervisory experience in preferred<\/p>\n
