Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0BUSINESS LINE MANAGER – AUTOMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n This position is responsible for sales and the provision of quality technical support in the Sales Area, on mine sites and remotely, and participate in commissioning of automation projects. The BLM will be required to follow defined commissioning timelines for projects and provide effective solutions to technical problems based on systemic failure analysis, this will involve capturing information from automation products\/equipment and services, along with reporting and feedback to customers of the findings and recommendations.<\/p>\n Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022Provide leadership in Business Development & Sales Support for Automation products<\/p>\n \u2022Provide technical support on proper operation, maintenance, troubleshooting practices, deliveries including retrofit kits of product area offerings.<\/p>\n \u2022Assist factories with field-testing and trials of new products and updated components to ensure proper and safe operation.<\/p>\n \u2022Assist customers with parts and recommended stock holdings.<\/p>\n \u2022Develop customer relationships to ensure customers have a positive experience and remain loyal to the Sandvik brand.<\/p>\n \u2022Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Company Values and current Company Policies and Procedures.<\/p>\n \u2022Develop automation competencies and talents within West Africa.<\/p>\n \u2022Take responsibility for all digital offering and Automation-related systems.
