{"id":2640,"date":"2011-03-21T03:41:02","date_gmt":"2011-03-21T03:41:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=2640"},"modified":"2013-12-26T16:20:40","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T16:20:40","slug":"jobs-in-ghana-accra-project-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/jobs-in-ghana-accra-project-officer.html","title":{"rendered":"Jobs in Ghana Accra: Project Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong><em>International Water and Sanitation Centre (IRC)<\/em><\/strong> is leading multi-country six year international learning initiative known as Sustainable Services at Scale (Triple-S), to improve water supply to the rural poor.\u00a0 Triple-S seeks to promote and support processes aimed at moving from project-based one off construction of water systems to water services that last.\u00a0 Operating under the auspices of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency in Ghana and in partnership with other country stakeholders, the Triple-S Project is working within existing country frameworks to test models that will ensure sustainable water service delivery in Ghana..\u00a0 It is expected that results\/innovations from the piloting will inform the adaptation of policies and practices for delivering water services in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Reporting:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Country Team Leader, Triple-S<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<br \/>\n<\/strong>To ensure efficient office management and administrative support to the Triple-S Ghana project<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Ideal Candidate will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Procure and manage office supplies<\/li>\n<li>Undertake office management<\/li>\n<li>Support events management of the Triple-S Project and IRC Ghana programme<\/li>\n<li>Assist in data collection and management<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update records on project staff<\/li>\n<li>Organize and maintain documentation and filing systems (electronic and manual)<\/li>\n<li>Organize logistics for workshops and other meetings<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain list of all project contacts including service providers<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain activity calendar<\/li>\n<li>Assist in managing research data (transcribe, store, process and retrieve)<\/li>\n<li>Download and upload data unto a website<\/li>\n<li>Capture and produce minutes of proceedings of meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Ideal candidates must have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Minimum of first degree in Administration, Social Science or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of professional working experience in Events Management\/Office Management\/Data Management in a reputable organization(s)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of MS-Office suite and must also be conversant with Web based application<\/li>\n<li>Ability to Create and Manage records<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The following will count as advantage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good interpersonal and diplomatic skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in\u00a0a multi-cultural and multi-racial environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How to apply:<\/p>\n<p>If you meet the above criteria, please send a CV with 3 referees, and contact details to:<\/p>\n<div><strong><br \/>\nDirector of Administration and Human Resource<br \/>\nCommunity Water and Sanitation Agency<br \/>\nPrivate Mail Bag<br \/>\nK.
