Oxfam has worked in Ghana since 1986 with the focus on bridging the gap between progress made in the north and south, sustainable agricultural livelihoods, free universal quality education and healthcare, and promoting accountable governance and transparency in natural resource revenue management<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head of Programmes and Campaigns (INT3785)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Head of Programmes and Campaigns will contribute to the development and implementation of the Country Strategic Plan. Work closely and collaboratively as a member of the Country Senior Management Team to lead delivery of programme objectives. Work with the Country Director for effective change management within Oxfam, keeping Oxfam relevant and progressive to changing internal and external contexts. Represent Oxfam at internal and external events and meetings as appropriate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The post holder will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report to the Country Director and oversee the overall management of programmes, policy and campaigns initiatives and actions.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Country Director to institute structural reform within Oxfam in Ghana Programme, focusing on changes to the programmes team (including, where necessary, supporting the recruitment of new staff).<\/li>\n<li>Support, supervise, coach, and mentor all programme leads.<\/li>\n<li>Have oversight responsibility for the overall country programmes budget with departments and thematic leads.<\/li>\n<li>Be a member of the senior management team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Deputise for the Country Director and act in his\/her absence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we are Looking For?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a strong and experienced leader with interest and in-depth understanding of social and economic development interventions. \u00a0If you have demonstrated track records in driving change, and engendering high performing teams, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop others, then this may be an opportunity for you.<\/p>\n<p>Detailed job description, including desired competencies and skills is attached<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oxfam aims to bring lasting solutions for quality access to water, poverty, hunger, and injustice in the Ghana.
