The overall objective of this position is to improve any revenue stream by selling the right mix of products & services, at the right price, at the right time, to the right customer, at the right customer touch point, using the right distribution network. The incumbent in this position is also responsible to materialize the maximum number of requests and reservations.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title: Director Of Revenue<\/strong><\/p>\n

EDUCATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Minimum of high school, Baccalaureate (Abitur), A-level exam and a Professional Certification (Bachelor, University Degree, Hotel School Diploma)<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in Revenue Management, including electronic distribution
\n\u00b7 Opera central systems knowledge
\n\u00b7 Knowledge of either FidelioV6 or Opera PMS is imperative
\n\u00b7 A proven track record of increasing revenue streams or strengthening the performance of a property or several properties
\n\u00b7 Experience with Revenue Management reports and market performance reports<\/p>\n

LANGUAGE:<\/strong>
\n\u00b7 Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment:
\n\u00b7 English \u2013 excellent oral and written skills
\n\u00b7 Additional language – beneficial<\/p>\n

COMPETENCIES:<\/strong>
\n\u00b7 Be proactive in achieving rooms revenue goals
\n\u00b7 Relevant experience in Reservations. Hotel Operations and Revenue Management experience are a plus
\n\u00b7 Detail orientated and hands on
\n\u00b7 Team player with strong interpersonal skills
\n\u00b7 Effective ability to supervise, motivate, train and develop employees
\n\u00b7 Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm and be a motivator
\n\u00b7 Ability to investigate systems malfunctions or user-input errors
\n\u00b7 Ability to analyze data, make meaningful conclusions and base sound decisions and strategies on these
\n\u00b7 Knowledge of industry-specify terminology such as ADR, RevPAR etc.
\n\u00b7 Ability to adapt to a frequently changing market environment. Be proactive and able to \u201cthink outside of the box\u201d<\/p>\n

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

. Computer literacy adapted to the field of Revenue Management:
\n\u00b7 Good keyboard skills and proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include MSWord, MSExcel and MSPowerpoint<\/p>\n

\u00b7 PMS, Opera, IDEAS and EZYield<\/p>\n
