\n\u2022 Checking customers credit situation and instituting the terms and conditions of the receivable and payable balance
\n\u2022 Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating\u00a0 repayment plans
\n\u2022 Assist in the setting up of the credit control system
\n\u2022 Meet cash and debtor day targets set by the company and following up on overdue invoices within agreed time scales accurate advice on billing queries
\n\u2022 Regularly make contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
\n\u2022 Identify changes in payment patterns and propose actions to avert issues
\n\u2022 Handle disputed invoices and negotiate to bring payment within general terms
\n\u2022 Respond promptly and completely to both internal and external client enquiries
\n\u2022 Propose write off of irrevocable receivable receivables and undertake accounts reconciliation as required
\n\u2022 Provide ad-hoc reporting as and when request by management
\n\u2022 Send out monthly client statements\/letters as may be agreed periodically
\n\u2022 Develop the credit management capability within practice
\n\u2022 Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Managing Director or Chief Accountant or any other person designated in their absence<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Between two 3 to 4 years relevant experience in a similar role
\n\u2022 Working knowledge of business financial systems relevant software and MS office suite with emphasis on Excel<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills (including presentation and listening skills)
\n\u2022 High energy level with a positive attitude, integrity, professionalism and strong work ethics
\n\u2022 Good organization skills, keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 The ability to work under pressure to meet expected deadlines with sound decision-making capabilities
\n\u2022 The ability to work cohesively within a team as well as independently
\n\u2022 The successful candidate must be a strong, influential, results oriented professional who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and knowledge<\/p>\n
