Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Director, Relationship Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n

Handle client in the investor and intermediary portfolio which includes, broker-dealers, Asset Managers, Pension Funds, custody clients amongst others. Would provide support in Public Sector coverage.<\/p>\n

The role will involve growing business relationships across the portfolio to achieve breadth and depth in SCB product offerings. Product offerings include but not limited to Transaction Banking, Corporate Finance, Debt Capital Market and Treasury Management and Derivatives.<\/p>\n

You will be expected to play a central role in developing strong investor network to support corporate finance and capital market activities in Ghana. Further, post-issuance activities, particularly on the secondary market, would be a key part of your job.<\/p>\n

You will be expected to engage clients at Senior level to include CEOs and below the chain of command.
\nKey Roles and Responsibilities
\nOrigination<\/p>\n

\uf06e Identify prospect and convert in line with Bank\u2019s appetite.
\n\uf06e Ensure quality of the sales pitch and lead them with the clients. Also review the Term sheets before delivering to clients.
\n\uf06e Work with CA and obtain all pre-deal clearances.
\n\uf06e Effectively use CRM for managing a healthy pipeline and also a record of client calls and discussions.
\n\uf06e Oversee CCM to ensure smooth on-boarding of client after thorough completion of documentation and other processes.
\n\uf06e Senior client calling and briefing on a regular basis for account maintenance and deal negotiation. Also engage senior internal stakeholders for marketing, credit and any other pertinent issues.
\nClient on-boarding & deal execution<\/p>\n

\uf06e Work closely with CA, product partners, GAM\/FAM and analyze a) wallet size b) determine the appropriateness of the product and c) work out a comprehensive account plan.
\n\uf06e Successfully negotiate and close out pricing and other deal dynamics with client
\n\uf06e Oversee the quality & turnaround of credit proposal and ensure faster delivery. Work with CA for resolving Credit queries.
\n\uf06e Oversee the CCM to ensure all documentation and security creation are completed on time to ensure smooth execution of transaction.
\n\uf06e Liaising with Legal\/external counsel\/CRC in preparation and execution of non standard complex transactions along with product partners.
\n\uf06e Work with CDD team to ensure proper completion of eCDDs.
\nAccount Management & portfolio quality<\/p>\n

\uf06e Along with the product partner, push for line utilization of complex and structured transactions. Oversee the CCM in ensuring high utilization of regular WC facilities.<\/p>\n

\uf06e Review Failed Trade status, EAR, ASTAR CCRT, etc with the CA to ensure discipline and quality in portfolio
\n\uf06e Review the excess\/past due situation with CCM to ensure they are regularized and also facilitate approvals wherever required.
\n\uf06e Review and monitor the client profitability to ensure there are no revenue leakages.<\/p>\n

\uf06e Attend various internal or external sales\/ non sales meetings like EAR, CAT, MTM calls, Portfolio Review Meeting and convene the consortium meetings where we are the lead bank.
\n\uf06e Maintain record of Confidentiality Agreement (Sales Team Leader to maintain file & copies will also be held by signatories to the agreement)
\n\uf06e Overall responsible and accountable for the credit quality of the assigned\/acquired portfolio.<\/p>\n

Qualifications and Skills
\nExperience<\/p>\n

At least 5 years experience in a similar role with relevant skills and experience<\/p>\n

Extensive relationship network in the domestic Financial Institutions. Global Network would be an advantage<\/p>\n

Qualification<\/p>\n

MBA<\/p>\n

Professional Qualification – CFA would be an advantage<\/p>\n
