The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) is an internationally recognised Centre of excellence for research in tropical diseases. Through the creation of effective links with governments, organisations and institutions and by responding to the health needs of communities, LSTM aims to promote improved health, particularly for people of the less developed\/resource poorest countries in the tropics and sub-tropics.<\/p>\n

The Centre for Maternal and Newborn Health (CMNH) at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine offers unique expertise in using the rigorous discipline of research to inform teaching and technical assistance programmes to improve the health of mothers and babies globally.<\/p>\n

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for research in tropical diseases. Through the creation of effective links with governments,\u00a0organisations and institutions and by responding to the health needs of communities, LSTM aims to promote improved health, particularly for people of the less developed\/resource poorest countries in the tropics and sub-tropics. The Centre for Maternal and Newborn Health (CMNH) at the Liverpool
\nSchool of Tropical Medicine offers unique expertise in using the rigorous discipline of research to inform teaching and technical assistance programmes to improve the health of mothers and babies globally.
\nThe Global Fund is funding the CMNH project, \u201cQuality improvement of integrated HIV, TB and Malaria services in Antenatal and Postnatal Care facilities in Ghana\u201d.
\nThe project aims to produce sustainable measurable improvements in the availability and quality of HIV, TB and malaria services integrated in ANC and PNC in selected health facilities. To support this commitment, we are seeking to appoint nationals from Ghana to join the project team.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reporting to the Senior Technical Officer, you will support the work of the team by providing data collection, tracking, cleaning and analysis.
\nIn addition, you will co-ordinate the data management from the relevant partners across multiple sites.
\nThis will include scheduling and undertaking field visits to perform quality checks on data and provide information on reporting.
\nRequired Skills or Experience
\nAlong with a Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline related to the role, it is essential that you have proven experience of working on project data and have experience of research administration, as you will be managing the research databases.
\nYou will need to demonstrate knowledge of quantitative data management and analysis programs, using MS Excel, SPSS or equivalent<\/p>\n
