Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Operational Auditor\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Reports To: Audit Manager<\/p>\n Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n Liaise with functional heads of departments responsible for operations, supply chain and projects to develop and or undertake periodic review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for core or support activities. Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering from an accredited tertiary institution. \nUndertake cost review of goods, services and works.
\nExecute assigned audits to identify potential issues, areas for improvement, and formulate recommended actions through review of documentation and client inquiry. .
\nReview procedures to ensure Job Safe Practices are operating efficiently to minimize or eliminate risks of hazards.
\nUndertake a resource audit of each work process or activity and evaluate whether resources are adequate and whether operators are properly trained to handle assigned tasks.
\nPerform work measurement studies by observing and reviewing process steps with employees.
\nUndertake any other duties that may be assigned.
\nOther:
\nTravel: 10-30% of travel will be required to the Operational Sites.<\/p>\n
\nMaster\u2019s degree in finance (e.g. MBA\/MSc Finance) or professional qualification.
\n3-5 years\u2019 work experience in a similar role.
\nIndustrial engineering in the mining or oil & gas sector will be a plus.<\/p>\n
\nContinuously develop skills and knowledge base through continuing education<\/p>\n
