Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Senior Valve Technician<\/strong><\/p>\n Role Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n Senior Valve Technicians (field service included)<\/strong><\/p>\n (The client provides a mix of specialist skills and Snr technicians will be expert in one or more of the following \u2013 Control valves, mechanical isolation valves, Safety relief valves)<\/p>\n Rate Description: Senior Technician<\/p>\n Function<\/strong><\/p>\n To lead the valve activity in the workshop or in the field, providing high level knowledge and expertise and coaching of subordinates and local nationals.<\/p>\n Primary Tasks<\/p>\n \u00b7 Understand work scopes and the requirements of each task<\/p>\n \u00b7 Inspection of valves during the repair cycle in line with Severn process \u2013 identifying failure modes<\/p>\n \u00b7 Understand how to identify and record all spare part requirements.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Understand how to identify the correct testing standards to apply to which valve group.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Understand the requirements of the following Standards: API 598, API 6D & 6A, API 527, ANSI FCI-70-2, ANSI B16.34<\/p>\n \u00b7 Understand how to read a Manufacturers IOM Manual.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Supervision of technicians and fitters during the work process<\/p>\n \u00b7 Authorisation and sign off of inspection and test reports as a competent person.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Specialist activity \u2013 e.g. loop checking, positioner setting, high pressure emergency sealing etc<\/p>\n \u00b7 Able to correctly and competently complete SVM Test reports.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Able to correctly and competently complete engineers visit reports.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" WTS Energy is the leading Consultant\/Manpower supply company to the international oil, gas and energy industry.
