{"id":26990,"date":"2017-10-25T12:42:50","date_gmt":"2017-10-25T12:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=26990"},"modified":"2017-10-25T12:42:50","modified_gmt":"2017-10-25T12:42:50","slug":"bosch-africa-job-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/bosch-africa-job-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"Bosch Africa Job 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Logistics management is the part of supply chain management that plans, implements, and controls the efficient, effective forward, and reverse flow and storage of goods, services, and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet customer&#8217;s requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Logistics Operations Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for logistics operations in Ghana functionally reporting to regional manager located in Casablanca<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Primary internal customer: Power Tools division<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the warehouse management\u2019s activities for inbound and outbound operations;<\/li>\n<li>Manage the fine distribution schedule for the customers;<\/li>\n<li>Measure and report the KPIs of the logistics service providers;<\/li>\n<li>Lead in stock taking and valuation of inventory;<\/li>\n<li>Invoice verification from third party suppliers;<\/li>\n<li>Shipment tracking and follow up from origin to destination;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Implementing improvement projects in operations (CIP) such as SAP introduction &amp; training for LSP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Budget and cost planning of local cost center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Support on new logistics tenders and tender extension discussions with purchasing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Reduction of logistics costs by optimizing warehouse and distribution processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Support on customs clearing processes and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your competencies and qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors or Equivalent. (Masters in Business Administration, Project Management, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English.
