These students will become tomorrow&#8217;s leaders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Special Education Teacher<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to fulfill a special education teacher\u00a0opening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This role will report to the Principal of Academics, Assistant Principal or Lead\u00a0Teacher<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job\u00a0Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The role of a special education teacher entails daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. \u00a0The teacher is responsible for observing and evaluating student performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. The daily tasks include but are not limited to grading papers, answering emails, taking student attendance, and preparing necessary materials for each class activity. The weekly tasks of a teacher include but are not limited to communicating with parents, checking on students progress, updating curriculum and lesson plans, completing Friday checklist provided by the principal.
