\n\u2022 Developing annual operations activity schedules
\n\u2022 Conducting geographic reconnaissance
\n\u2022 Identifying and overseeing the preparation and renovation of, spray operation sites\/bases
\n\u2022 Organising annual planning meetings with NMCP, other local stakeholders and spray districts
\n\u2022 Determining spray operation labour requirements and overseeing the recruitment of seasonal spray personnel
\n\u2022 Quantifying requirements for insecticides, sprayers, PPE and all other equipment and supplies
\n\u2022 Confirming specifications for PPE, and all other equipment and supplies procured locally
\n\u2022 Organising micro-planning meetings<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ensuring that correct spray techniques are applied
\n\u2022 Ensuring quality and accuracy of primary data
\n\u2022 Ensuring data forms are promptly and safely delivered to data centers
\n\u2022 Ensuring that supervision and monitoring tools are used as required
\nOversees the management of warehouses and stores
\n\u2022 Ensuring adherence to USAID\/PMI BMP for IRS
\n\u2022 Ensuring that there are adequate stock levels of comodities, equipment and supplies, at all operation sites
\n\u2022 Ensuring that all store records are up-to-date throughout the spray campaign
\n\u2022 Coordinates training of trainer (TOT) courses, and the trainings of the different categories of spray personnel
\n\u2022 Oversees information, education and communication (IEC) activities and community mobilization<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Achieves operations-related monitoring & evaluation and quality control indicators of the project
\n\u2022 Develops the operations component of the country capacity-building plan to transfer skills to local institutions
\n\u2022 Directly supervises the project\u2019s District coordinators, logistics coordinator and a local communications NGO.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 At least 8 years of professional experience managing operations in an international development environment, with significant experience in vector control programs
\n\u2022 Significant management and supervisory experience
\n\u2022 Prior experience at USAID-funded programmes and basic knowledge of Federal and AID acquisition regulations (FARs and AIDARs) are highly desirable
\n\u2022 Excellent writing, computer and organisational skills
\n\u2022 English language fluency<\/p>\n
