{"id":27436,"date":"2017-11-15T12:53:30","date_gmt":"2017-11-15T12:53:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=27436"},"modified":"2017-11-15T12:53:30","modified_gmt":"2017-11-15T12:53:30","slug":"knust-vacancies-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/knust-vacancies-2017.html","title":{"rendered":"Knust Vacancies 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>for appointment as<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Deputy Internal Auditor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">The Position<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">The Deputy Internal Auditor is responsible to the Internal Auditor of the University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">The Person<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Must have served as Senior Internal Auditor in a University or equivalent grade in an analogous institution for a minimum of five (5) years;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Must be a Chartered Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor (ICA, ACCA or CIA);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">A postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or any relevant field; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Must not be less than forty (40) years.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Experience<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Must have had extensive experience in Auditing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Good knowledge in Auditing techniques<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Must be conversant with the Public Procurement Act (Act 663), the Internal Audit Agency Act (Act 658) and the Financial Administration Act (Act 654) among others<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Ability to take initiative and exercise good judgement<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Must have good communication, report writing and presentation skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office would be an advantage<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Mode of Application<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested Candidates are to complete\u00a0<strong>Application Forms,<\/strong>\u00a0which are obtainable from the Human Resources Development Division, Registrar\u2019s Offices, Main Administration Block, (Room 214), KNUST or complete the forms online at\u00a0<strong>apps.knust.edu.gh\/staffapplication<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Completed application forms should reach the address below not later than\u00a0<strong>WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2017<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>THE REGISTRAR,<br \/>\nKWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY OF<br \/>\nSCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY,<br \/>\nPRIVATE MAIL BAG<br \/>\nUNIVERSITY POST OFFICE<br \/>\nKUMASI<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>REGISTRAR<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons\u00a0for appointment as Job Title: Deputy Internal Auditor The Position The Deputy Internal Auditor is responsible to the Internal Auditor of the University.
