\n\u2022 Collects data for the analyses of financial transactions, recording and keeping the books of accounts
\n\u2022 Checks all financial documents before payment are affected and ensures that details are properly entered into the appropriate ledgers
\n\u2022 Drafts reports on the performance of the section to the Principal Accountant
\n\u2022 Provides technical guidance and directives to team members in line with the set objectives of the finance department
\n\u2022 Designs and maintains effective accounting and internal control systems
\n\u2022 Drafts technical reports on the performance of the section
\n\u2022 Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 A minimum of 2 years post qualification relevant work experience in a reputable organisation
\n\u2022 Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the council in consultation with the Public Service Commission<\/p>\n
