For more information about Goodyear and its products, go to www.goodyear.com\/corporate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0OTR Field Engineer &#8211; West Africa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location in Accra, Ghana.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Develop and maintain a close technical \/ engineering relationships with key OTR end-users.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Perform various field activities: mine site audit, give best recommendation for site maintenance and the product to be used;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 TKPH calculation;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Follow the performance of Goodyear as well as competitor tires;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Upload end-users profile details and performance data on Goodyear OTR management system (EMtrackIII);<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Analyze tires performance issues, and inspect claim tires.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Build and develop Goodyear Distributor technical teams.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Perform training to end-users &amp; distributor teams, both in class and hands on at site.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Interface with Marketing, Sales, and Business Product Development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>MUST<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Experience in sales in tire industry (OTR or commercial) &#8211; mandatory minimum 2 years (experience in automotive industry is a plus);<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of OTR product applications and design.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with product service\/warranties.\u00b7<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated.\u00b7 Customer service oriented.\u00b7 Team Player.\u00b7 Ability to interact professionally with a variety of personalities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel across the region<\/li>\n<li>Languages: English, French would be a great advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Goodyear is one of the world\u2019s largest tire companies.
