Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title: Dispensing Technologist<\/strong><\/p>\n Main Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n The job holder will support the delivery of the Pharmacy service through effective co-ordination of day to day activities and to dispense medicines, under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist. \n\u2022 To support the delivery of the pharmacy service through effective co-ordination of day to day activities
\n\u2022 To provide medicines advice to patients under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist\/Medical Practitioner
\n\u2022 To maintain security of all pharmaceutical products in accordance with standard operating procedures
\n\u2022 To provide day to day support and guidance to pharmacy assistants\/ technician and students<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 HND Dispensing Technology from a recognized institution
\n\u2022 Possess a minimum of 1-2 years post qualification work experience
\n\u2022 Experience in community pharmacy and possess administrative skills
\n\u2022 Must be computer literate
\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
\n\u2022 Professional Demeanor
\n\u2022 Ability to maintain confidentiality
\n\u2022 Strong communications skills<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Knowledge brand and generic names of medication
\n\u2022 Filling in Corporate and Insurance prescriptions and forms
\n\u2022 Arrangement of new medicines in pharmacological order on shelves as and when need be.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Weekly list of registered medicines
\n\u2022 Monthly collation of Corporate and Insurance prescriptions and forms
