\nCUTS is a non-profit research and advocacy policy think tank based in Accra with mandates to the ECOWAS region (www.cuts international.org\/arc\/ accra). CUTS works in the areas of international trade and development, consumer protection and consumer safety, governance, competition,
\ninvestment and economic Regulation. CUTS has distinguished itself over the years as an organization that is enable to engage the grassroots, policy makers and non-state actors. CUTS requires two interns (one male and one female) to assist in the areas of research and programmatic activities. Internship position is nonpaid.
\nHowever, interns shall be provided with monthly stipend.
\nKey Responsibilities of the Communications\/Social Media would include but not limiting to:
\nBasic research
\nManages the organization\u2019s social media channels, including Facebook, youtube, Twitter, and other relevant platforms Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
\nCreates dynamic written, graphic, and video content
\nCreates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on the organization sites, and encourages audience participation
\nAssists social media management with large projects, events, and community management
\nEngages in literature review, writing of reports and among others.<\/p>\n
\nExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office \u2013 Word, Excel)
\nMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service
\nAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard
\naccepted practices<\/p>\n
\nExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office \u2013 Word, Excel)
\nMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service
\nAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard
