\n\u2022 Acts as an advocate for children \u2013 raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one\u2019s influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children
\n\u2022 Develops, regulates and maintains creative, clear and consistent communication materials in support of the organisation\u2019s marketing, public relations and internal communications strategies, that
\nalign with the organisation\u2019s brand\/identify and core messaging
\n\u2022 Plans, develops and publishes external communication (including press kits, press releases, annual reports, byline articles, storylines\/pitch decks, web content, corporate messaging and other PR vehicles). He or she may also develop and maintain lines of communication with media contacts and other external audience groups
\n\u2022 Coordinates with media prepare and relay communication concerning the organisation for the press and wider community with the purpose of enhancing relationships with all of the organisation\u2019s various publics in order to generate mutual understanding, goodwill, awareness and support.
\n\u2022 Works cross-functionally to maintain the organization\u2019s brand, including updating the style guide and editorial standards\/policies
\n\u2022 Is responsible for budgeting and planning for baseline surveys and other monitoring and evaluation activities in the National office
\n\u2022 Coaches and provides expertise to other professionals and support staff in the public relation discipline<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Licenses and certification Accredited in Public relations credential, marketing communications specialist certificate or similar credential. Equivalent additional education, experience, training, or certification may be substituted for specified certificate
\n\u2022 Experience At least 7 years of experience working in this position or field
\n\u2022 Work environment: Office \u2013 Standard office environment
\n\u2022 Physical Demands: Sitting, standing and\/or walking for up to 8 hours per day
\n\u2022 Travel requirement: may be required to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
