We are a member of the Barclays Africa Group Limited (BAGL), which is majority-owned by Barclays Bank PLC.<\/p>\n<p><b>Description<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Job Title: Retail Director<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure that the Barclays Ghana Retail sand Card Acquiring function and all units within it are\u00a0 operationally capable of delivering the required business as a usual result.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and deliver exceptional performance through effective Leadership of people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accountable for the Core Retail and Card Acquiring Sector in Ghana<\/p>\n<p><b>Essential\/Basic Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills: (Maximum of 6)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Detailed working knowledge of all the Bank\u2019s policies and procedures related to the processing of WPB schemes.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of sales methodology and target setting.<\/li>\n<li>Thorough understanding of the financial services industry.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of legal language as it relates to contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of local competitor tactics, products and distribution channels<\/li>\n<li>Understanding how large corporate and government departments operate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A good network in the business community<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With over 100 years of banking heritage in Ghana, and a far reaching global presence, Barclays Ghana makes banking accessible &#8211; wherever you are.
