\n\u2022 Identify new business opportunities and expand the product footprint within the West Africa region
\n\u2022 Receipt and logging of enquiries with the product team
\n\u2022 Perform rubber lining training on site
\n\u2022 Coordinate communication with customers, suppliers, agents and internal staff professionally
\n\u2022 Coordinate of technical evaluation with product team
\n\u2022 Observe all defined processes and procedures for the application engineering skills set and proactively identify improvements
\n\u2022 Carry out root cause analysis investigations and report on site visits as required, commissioning and
\n\u2022 Troubleshooting
\n\u2022 Update customers and product teams on project status
\n\u2022 Proactively develop relevant SOPs and documentation for training, projects and services
\n\u2022 Adhere to ISO 9001:2000 and all HSE and housekeeping requirements at the branch and on sites
\n\u2022 Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times
\n\u2022 Assist with other African regions if required
\n\u2022 Perform any other related duties as assigned<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Training in mineral processing
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the Linatex range of rubber products
\n\u2022 Knowledge of slurry transfer systems
\n\u2022 Certified Artisan\/Boiler Maker qualification would be advantageous<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 3 years project management experience pertaining to lining
\n\u2022 Site experience in the West Africa region is essential<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Weir product knowledge will be advantageous
\nMinimum Skills \/ Abilities
\n\u2022 Excellent business communication at all levels \u2013 verbal and written
\n\u2022 Technical competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
\n\u2022 Ability to specify piping and hose products suitable for application
\n\u2022 Excellent training skills
\n\u2022 Ability to manage multiple site teams on projects
\n\u2022 Deadline oriented, attention to detail and sound understanding of cost implications
\n\u2022 Self-starter, ability to work independently with little supervision
