Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0Drilling Operations Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Location<\/strong><\/p>\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Reporting to the Senior Drilling Operations Engineer, the jobholder will provide and be responsible for drilling engineering planning support to the offshore operation from Accra. \n\u2022 Contribute to delivering operational EHS performance
\n\u2022 Ensure that all drilling activities comply with company standards and governmental regulations.
\n\u2022 Provide well engineering delivery objectives as necessary
\n\u2022 Provide input into the specification of drilling equipment and services in accordance with company procedures
\n\u2022 Ensure that timely purchase requisitions are in place and equipment delivery times match the drilling schedule
\n\u2022 Ensure that all work within the area of responsibility is adequately documented and lessons learned are captured
\n\u2022 Ensure well material and service providers comply with specified quality assurance requirements.
\n\u2022 Build effective relationships and interact professionally with internal\/external stakeholders and service companies.
\n\u2022 Develop and maintain well cost estimates and control records<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Must have a valid survival certification
\n\u2022 International Well Control Forum (IWCF) Well Control Certificate required
\n\u2022 Minimum of 10 years extensive subsea drilling experience
\n\u2022 Experience in water depths greater than 800 metres is preferred.
\n\u2022 Work experience in remote locations and knowledge of work environments in West Africa.
\n\u2022 High proficiency in the use of MS Suite and Landmark software<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
