\n\u2022 Ensure the implementation of decisions of the registrar
\n\u2022 Set and coordinate work programmes to achieve set targets in the staff
\n\u2022 Provide leadership and supervisory role in the execution of all programmes and activities
\n\u2022 Ensure the execution of performance contracts for all the staff are signed with the Registrar
\n\u2022 Oversee plans and budget preparation and implementation and monitoring
\n\u2022 Promote the corporate image of the office and the profession
\n\u2022 Contribute to policy development, analysis and review in the secretariat
\n\u2022 contribute to the development of medium\/Long term strategic plans
\n\u2022 Any other functions that is necessary to the objective of the council<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A high standard of general knowledge and be well-informed on current affairs
\n\u2022 A thorough knowledge of the functions of the council
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of English \u2013 both written and spoken
\n\u2022 A dynamic personality and pleasing behaviour
\n\u2022 Knowledge of office organisation, procedures and rules
\n\u2022 Knowledge of shorthand and typing, fax and computers, e-mails and intranet as also internet<\/p>\n
